Michael and Edie Wall invited to stay at their 5 acre Homestead in the Olympic Peninsula for 6 months. The home is still available for sale valued in the upper $300K's. We brought a10 ft U-Haul truck with a few of our personal belongings and got to work setting up home using Feng Shui taught to Nani in the 1980's by Black Hat Sect Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui Grandmaster, Professor Lin Yun. The Wall Family needed a new "Doggy" ramp for Chelsea their Shelti so Quentin got some tImber and stain and did a fine job. The dandelions on this biodynamic soil acreage were amazing and we made awesome teas, jams and the best gelatin I ever tasted. Michael is the finest baker and pastry maker located in Port Angeles, Washington and brought us SUGAR- FREE, GLUTEN - FREE baked goods weekly from his Raindrop Desserts Bakery. His wedding cakes and flourless gluten-free, sugar-free chocolate cake melts in your mouth. Our neighbor was Paul Gautschi known for Back to Eden Gardening (see Movie Gallery) and he inspired us to throw mulch in the pasture, plant fruit trees and a garden. I planted a Medicine Wheel Garden and was able to enjoy fresh veggies very quickly. I started seeds indoors using toilet paper cardboard rolls and got a few Organic starters from the local nursery. We did companion planting and the only pest was the local giant slug but we managed them because slugs actually prefer dead matter to your veggie garden. We used recycled plastic bottles to make mini greenhouses to help the seed starts harden up. You can do a lot in a very short time. Great memories.
